Hi there,
WOW! what a week, infact what a last couple of years. Yeah that’s right! ‘Couple of years!’ that’s the time I’ve personally spent working my butt off on my membership software ExtremeMember.com but, before I get into all the juicy details about that I should introduce myself.
My name is Shane Goldberg, photoshop guy, marketer, husband, dad and software company founder. I’m currently located in Adelaide Australia where I live and work on a day to day basis.
Our company (Extreme Member) is spread now over a number of countries including the USA, Italy, Croatia, Romania, Ukraine, Brazil, Belgium and more. Our team is amazing. Infact I’d go as far as to say our team is the kind of team that Google wishes they could get their hands on! (sssh don’t tell Google that ok!?)
I’ve been making my living online now for around 4 years. I really love what I do and I’m very excited to have the opportunity now to bring Extreme Member public for the first time.
Quite a few years back in the internet dark ages I had a personal coaching call with Alex Mandossian (internet marketing / conversion guru). It was a great call one that really helped me launch into my Photoshop training business.
One of the key things that hit me like a ton of bricks out of that call was the need to set up a ‘recurring income’ stream via a Membership website.
It didn’t take much to have the light bulb moment to realize that recurring, passive income from membership sites truly is a genius business model – one I’m sure Einstein would be proud of!
I’m sure you’ll agree even as a kid you had dreams of someday writing a book and becoming rich, getting paid over and over again! And who the heck wouldn’t like that right? After all working 9-5 as a slave to someone else who you’re making rich but busting your butt for a wage is hardly fun or rewarding. (been there done that!)
I know it used to drive me nuts when I was working for other companies and I’d give them an idea or suggestion on how to improve the systems we were using and they’d reluctantly agree to take it on board and then immediately get an increase in sales, business and profits and then all I get is a little smug smile and a thank you if I’m lucky!
What the heck is wrong with people!? Anyway, don’t get me started about that. Let’s just say that working for other people is about as much fun as watching paint dry especially if you’re not getting paid well and you have to spend your valuable time there away from your family and friends. So it was time to get started and make it happen.
It’s a no brainer that the ‘membership’ business model with recurring income is a great way to go. Having your own little cash cow that pays you month after month is great and is generally alot more realistic and achievable for the average Jo or average Jane to achieve than it is to write a New York Times Best Selling Novel.
I set off to find the right membership software with eagerness and enthusiasm. I ended up irritated, frustrated and annoyed, infact I’d go as far as to say that trying to find good membership management software was like pulling teeth. PAINFUL!!!
I tried a handful of membership scripts and solutions nothing that impressed me or really did what I wanted to do easily. So I finally decided to get my own custom membership script made. It took months to build and wasn’t cheap but I had something built, I would say it was about a 4 out of 10 and did the job for what I needed. (sort of 
It was missing alot of features that I ultimately wanted and was more of a ‘make do for now’ solution than the be all and end all solution I really wanted and had envisaged to run my membership sites on autopilot.
That’s when the seed for Extreme Member was planted and born.

To get you started we’ve created around 100+ high quality video tutorials to show you how to use the system. You can take it in in bite size pieces as the videos are chunked into short step-by-step videos (normally 2-3 minutes in length) rather than long drawn out super boring help videos.
We’ve also been working hard on our online manual which will continue to grow over the coming weeks which as a valued member you have full access to.
