In this video I’m going to show you how to install a new plugin (User Locker), activate it and demonstrate how it works.

It’s a great little plugin to limit the number of incorrect login attempts on your site.

    Shane,

These demo videos that you have been publishing lately, are great. Keep them coming :)

I have a question regarding this User Locker Plugin. If a member exceeds the number of allowable login attempts… AND they also are not able to get the “lost password” option to work for them… How can the Administrator manually re-set the password on behalf of this “technically challenged” member.

    Thanks, Cindy

They way the plugin works the administrator can’t reset the password as explained in the video.

You’d have to deactivate the plugin.

    Shane,
You are really quick – I had released my plugin and you created your video next day :)

I plan to add option to enable/disable users from Admin panel. The work is almost finished, so I will release new version soon.
