Forums with WordPress

There’s a number of different options out there if you want to have a forum on your WP/Extreme Member site. One of them is bbPress (built by the WP guys), then you have BuddyPress, Simple Forum, phpBB etc.

I just read an interesting article that sounds very positive for the WordPress community which of course has a good spin off for Extreme Member clients too.

It looks as though bbPress is going to be turned into a plugin to work on any WP site.

This is fantastic news and it will make the whole process super simple, no more having to try and match skins/themes between the forum and the WP site theme or other hacking to make it work.
